Rozès

Founded in 1855 by Ostende Rozès, a Bordeaux wine merchant of Portuguese origin, Maison Rozès established itself in Vila Nova de Gaia in 1910. True to its heritage, its Port wines are distinguished by their elegance, complexity and balance. Under the guidance of Edmond Rozès, the House entered its golden age and created its iconic low-profile bottle, now recognised around the world.

In the heart of the Douro Valley, Quinta de Monsul enables Rozès to oversee every stage of the process, from harvest to ageing, selecting the finest grapes from this unique region — the cradle of Port wine. Through the use of modern winemaking tools, respect for traditional methods and an unwavering commitment to quality, Maison Rozès expresses the full intensity and richness of the world’s oldest controlled designation of origin, regularly honoured with prestigious international awards.
